Alliance Extra Staff is currently recruiting reliable and experienced Kitchen Hands and Cleaners to support aged care & healthcare facilities across Wangaratta and surrounding regional areas.

Kitchen Hand / Food Services Responsibilities
Set up and deliver meal and beverage trolleys to residents
Prepare and plate meals, including texture-modified meals (IDDSI)
Prepare sandwiches, salads, and light snacks
Maintain food safety records and temperature checks
Wash dishes and maintain kitchen cleanliness
Follow infection control and aged care food safety procedures
Cleaner Responsibilities
Maintain high standards of cleanliness across resident rooms and communal areas
Perform high-touchpoint cleaning and disinfection
Follow coloured mop systems and infection control guidelines
Maintain cleaning equipment and documentation
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 6 months’ experience within aged care, healthcare, or hospitality
Strong communication skills and reliability
Current National Police Check
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
Current Working with Children Check
Up-to-date COVID-19 (3x) and 2025 Flu Vaccination
Availability for flexible shifts
Knowledge & Experience with Modified Diets (IDDSI)
