About the Role
As a Kitchen Hand, Food Service Assistant or Catering Attendant, you will support Aged Care facilities and Hospitals by helping deliver high-quality food service and maintaining safe, clean kitchen environments.

Your Responsibilities May Include:

• Setting up and delivering food and drink trolleys
• Preparing and plating meals, including texture-modified foods and fluids
• Making fresh sandwiches, salads, and snacks
• Recording food temperatures and maintaining food safety standards
• Washing dishes and cleaning kitchen areas
• Following infection control and hygiene procedures
• Working with modified diets and IDDSI guidelines

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 6 months’ experience in healthcare, hospitality, Aged Care or Hospitals
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Current National Police Check (within the last 12 months)
• Working With Children Check
• Current COVID-19 Vaccinations
• 2026 Flu Vaccination
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
• Availability for flexible shifts (minimum 3 days per week)
• Knowledge of modified diets and IDDSI standards
