About the Role
Alliance Extra Staff is currently recruiting experienced Kitchen Hands, Food Service Assistants and Cleaners to support Aged Care facilities and Hospitals across Albury, Wodonga, and surrounding regional NSW & VIC areas.

As a Kitchen Hand or Food Service Assistant you may:

• Set up and deliver food and drink trolleys
• Prepare and plate meals, including texture-modified foods and fluids
• Create fresh sandwiches, salads, and snacks
• Record food temperatures and maintain food safety standards
• Wash dishes and maintain clean kitchen areas
• Follow infection control and hygiene procedures
• Work with modified diets and IDDSI guidelines

Cleaner Responsibilities:

• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in resident rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas
• Complete high-touch point cleaning and disinfection
• Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Set up and maintain cleaning trolleys
• Follow colour-coded mop systems and infection control procedures

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 6 months' experience within Healthcare, Aged Care, Hospitals, or Hospitality
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Current National Police Check (within the last 12 months)
• Current Working With Children Check
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• Current COVID-19 vaccinations (minimum three doses)
• 2026 Influenza Vaccination
• Availability for flexible shifts (minimum 3 days per week)
• Knowledge of modified diets and IDDSI guidelines (Kitchen/Food Services roles)
• Knowledge of colour-coded mop systems and infection control procedures (Cleaning roles)
